Listening to the notorious

I am not sure how to make this post but thought I would try. In your most recent newsletter A Bit Like Shelving I was convicted as I read the second to last paragraph. It is so often I certainly must miss out on what God has for me because, in my pride, I refuse to listen to those that let's say carry a certain notoriety. If I respect, and think highly of you then I listen to your words, but the complete opposite is true, if I do not respect you neither do I respect your words. It seems my ego shapes for me a not so pleasant path. Thanks Eric, I think I am going to work on that! I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about integrity, and the lack of... It seems to me that integrity could be measured some in my willingness to slow down and listen to my fellow man, even those that do not meet my preconceived notions of who I would call,"the wise". What is integrity? I suppose it is what I do when know one is looking, or what I am thinking inside where know one can see. What ever integrity truly is and however we truly acquire it I pray it in abundance for us all. Thanks for listening and God bless. I remain His, carl
