Sara, I believe you are right about this. I often have the experience of remembering verses of the Bible as concepts. It used to be that I knew chapter and verse for many things, useful to argue with those who disagreed, but not so useful in the real world. I've found that since it's now more the "spirit of the law" rather than the "letter of the law" that I have in my heart, it comes together a lot better.
