Ok...I have to apologize. I shouldn't have spoken about children that way. It sounded sarcastic. And it was all so irrelevant.
But..on the day I wrote that stuff, I had been overseeing a rather large group of 5-6-7 year olds and I was frazzled. I was sincere in that I was appalled about how AWFUL they behaved toward each other, but I was insincere in that I probably do understand what Jesus meant about children and Heaven. I was "venting" that day, I suppose. And also...when I was with those kids, I couldn't help thinking "How can anyone NOT believe in Original Sin?" Again I'm being a little phoney because I, for one, don't believe in Original Sin in terms of doctrine. Just...behavior.
Anyway, I'm writing to apologize for being so unreflective before I responded. Just sat down at my computer and blah blah blah.
Sort of like this morning.....
