Re (1): Proof is in the Pudding

I am new to your newletter and this site. I thank you for the questions you have raised. I consider myself a "renegade Christian" —accepting the divinity of Christ—but perhaps approaching Christianity from a more mystical standpoint. I have great difficulty with literalism and fundamentalism and pray daily for clarity. I simply have not found anything that speaks to me more eloquently than the messages of the Old and New Testaments. I have in the past attended New Thought churches but have found their shallow dismissal of evil to be unrealistic. Christianity, and Judaism provide a language for speaking about the ineffable. I believe that even if certain tenets of faith are proved untrue it cannot substantially alter what is most real. I continue to seek and to search knowing that I would not be looking for God if She did not already exist.
