That's interesting. I was not previously familiar with the NET Bible (though I've been to Bible.org before and link to it from several pages), relying on Bible Gateway instead for its ease of verse by verse linkability. There is also an updated version of the New American Bible online, though as I noted in He Who is Not Against You is For You, it does not have the same footnotes as the older, pre-1986 version (nor is it even worded the same). In any case, it is nice to see the footnote corroborated—that's where it would be nice to be a Greek scholar. It is certainly possible that there are other translations that have a similar note—in fact, one would be surprised if they didn't, if such be true of the text.
