Thanks for another excellent newsletter. The part about beget, begotten, and born again reminded me immediately of John 1:11,12 and Romans 8:16; I John 3:1 and 5:1
He came to His own, and His own didn't receive Him; but to those who did, He gave them power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on His name;
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
See what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the sons of God.
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves Him that begat loves Him (and him) that is begotten of Him.
And one more verse comes to mind, from Genesis: And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. Genesis 1:31
What a fitting meditation for this Advent/Christmas season.
