Mystery of Marriage

I have been reading a book on spiritual warfare and read this morning re: sexual sin. The author speaks of the fact that at the root of all sexual sin including fantasy is deeply rooted selfishness. It is a form of self-gratification, self-pleasuring, in fact it is self-worship and hence idolitry.
To be married to Jesus Christ which I wish to be, we must die to self and then live to Him. But the self does not die easily!
