Why Doesn’t He Give His Life to God?

Thank you for your wonderful honesty about your life. The last newsletter about your conversion and your paranormal experiences was fascinating. I know that you are a blessing to so many people that are out there feeling weird and alone. You are to me. My past is so like yours in many ways, and I'll bet there are alot of us out there with similar histories.
One thing I would like to comment on that really struck me in your story:
When you were walking down that moonlit road and you said: “If there be anything living or dead that can help me, please do.”
At that time you were not a Christian, you didn't say, "OK, only good clean nice Angels from heaven, please help me." A Demon could have arrived to "help" you. Yet.... It definitely seems that a true Guardian Angel was sent to you at that request. And not only that, but when the Demons did try to "horn in" (ha ha, no pun intended) you were given the spiritual discernment to be able to recognize them! That is amazing to me. I've known so many in my past who were really led down dark and evil paths by asking for spiritual help from any one (spirit) out there. I too was protected from evil many times in my past. I can see that for sure now, looking back. Why is it that some seem to fall prey to Demonic influence and never escape while others are protected, even when they don't ask to be? Does God really set his seal on some, even while they are in darkness and not on others? Or maybe it's just that you and I both had Christian Mothers praying for us? I've wondering some lately about pre-destination and this seems to maybe be a case in point for that, or maybe not. What does anyone else think. I know that is a really big subject. But the Bible does seem to point to it in spots.
