"...gravity has been right there to carry it quickly back down to the earth. In the same sense, we know that in the past our Heavenly Father has always been there for us."

This "sense" you speak about is interesting. Couldn't an individual have a "sense" that the Heavenly Father does not exist? Is it accurate to compare a concept such as gravity (which can easily be detected through sight) with the concept of the Heavenly Father's dependability?

Isn't it possible that an individual's "walk" has been based on the faith that has grown throughout his/her non-existent relationship with Christ?

In other words, how do you measure a Faith in God against a Faith in His non-existence? A sensible human cannot, since any attempt to do so is attacking the process at which one arrived at his/her belief. What measurement does one use to grade or evaluate a process? The end result? Unfortunately, the end result brings us back to comparing the validity between a Faith in God and a Faith in a world without a God.

Perhaps I tripped while walking through my subjective logic.
