Hello,
You have offered some excellent insight yourself. Our Christian walk is very much based on the faith that has grown throughout our relationship with Christ, who has proven Himself trustworthy throughout all the trials in our past. None of us ever know what the future may hold, but we certainly can reflect on the past: often a telling gauge of the future. We know that in the past whenever we dropped a book or a rock or any object that had a definite mass, gravity has been right there to carry it quickly back down to the earth. In the same sense, we know that in the past our Heavenly Father has always been there for us. Why should we be suspect for believing He will continue to be?
Also of interest might be the very brief commentary entitled Christian Failure.
