This sure hit home with me. Thank you for the excerpt from Foster. His insight is refreshing and thought provoking. The News letter ended among other things with a comment which said something about Foster's insight being a tall order, and that I have found to be true. I always seem to fail, but I believe that it is in my persistence that I truly learn. Faithfulness becomes the hidden key that brings us through the most trying times. It is only when we doubt, and do not believe, that trials become the end of us -James 1:6. In ones striving to walk as He walked-1John 2:6 it is our faith that becomes the substance of our Christian walk. And as our walk continues, because of faith, we learn and we grow in relationship with him. If you can not trust a friend, even your best friend, what relationship is there? A good friend told me that a relationship is built on trust, and without trust you have nothing. I think he is pretty wise. If we do not trust the Lord through thick and thin, what can he do in our lives?
